Lily Collins’ Birthday Wish For ‘Soul Sister’ Ashley Park Is All Things Love

Emily in Paris stars Lily Collins and Ashley Park share a close friendship both on and off-screen. To mark her friend’s birthday this year, Lily Collins poured her heart out on Instagram with a sweet note. With a couple of pictures showing them posing for happy selfies, the actress wrote, “Happy birthday to a woman I’ll never be able to properly express my love and admiration for.”

Lilly Collins called Ashley Park the most “incredible listener and supportive soul sister” in the heartfelt note.

“You are too funny for words, and I don’t know how we ever get any work done. You’re the most incredible scene partner (when we finally calm down). You’re the most incredible listener and supportive soul sister. And you are a constant source of inspiration and light to all those around you. You are beyond a shadow of a doubt one of the greatest gifts in my life. You’re family forever and I love you so so much,” the post concluded.

In the pictures, while the first one shows the two posing for a selfie, another one features the BFFs with Minnie Mouse hairbands. Finally, the third one is a shadow image, seemingly from the sets of their show.

Fans couldn’t help but adore their infectious energy and bonding. Ashley Park also commented on the post and wrote, “I love you. Thank you for being there for me this past year, especially and always.”

Earlier this year, Ashley in a heartwarming gesture celebrated Lily Collin’s 35th birthday on the sets of Emily in Paris. She also shared video clips from the celebrations, calling Lily her “soul sister.”

Following the cliffhanger ending in the previous season, Emily in Paris is ready for its next chapter. While Lily Collins and Ashley Park will return as Emily and Mindy, they will be joined by other stalwarts like Camille Razat as Camille, Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, Lucien Laviscount as Alfie, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie, Samuel Arnold as Julien and Bruno Gouery as Luc.

The first-look pictures of the characters were recently dropped by Netflix, bringing up the undeniable dynamics between them. Emily in Paris Season 4 will be released in two parts on August 15 and September 12, respectively.
