Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD Trailer To Release On June 10

Prabhas made his big comeback with Salaar after a brief unsuccessful stint. Now, all eyes are on his next film Kalki 2898 AD.  The film caught the attention of fans more than 2 years back when director Nag Ashwin announced it, then tentatively titled Project K. Now, fans are waiting for the makers to release the trailer. It is being reported that the trailer will be out on June 10. FYI: Kalki 2898 AD will hit the theatres on June 27. We have, till now, got a first look teaser and two introductory videos, one introducing Amitabh Bachchan’s Aswatthama and another introducing the AI-powered super vehicle Bujji, which has been voiced by Keerthy Suresh.

But the wait for the trailer might finally be over. According to reports, a grand trailer launch event will be held in Mumbai on June 9 with most of the starcast and crew attending the event. The trailer is expected to drop during the event itself. In addition, the makers of Kalki 2898 AD are reportedly planning to organise not one, but three events to promote the movie. After the trailer launch event in Mumbai, they are considering Delhi and Andhra Pradesh.

Promotional activities for the film include the makers gifting merchandise modelled after Prabhas’ Bhairava character and Bujji to children of stars. Kannada star Yash is reported to have received some merchandise from the film for his kids. It is clear that the makers are leaving no stone unturned to generate interest in the movie, with many online fans even declaring that the film could be India’s answer to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Kalki 2898 AD is set centuries into the future in a dystopian world and also has a touch of mythology in it along with science fiction elements. The cast members also include Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.
